UP Aerospace Inc., launched their  first rocket from the New Mexico desert site in September, but it crashed into the  desert after spiraling out of control nine seconds after liftoff.  They’re trying again.

 

Family members can pay $495 to place a few grams of their loved ones in space, so Scotty won’t be the only dust on board.

 

Doohan died in July 2005, at age 85. The remains of Gene Roddenberry, who created "Star Trek," were sent into space in 1997.
