The Pagan Federation has condemned a 180ft
high drawing of Homer Simpson in a field next to the
famous 17th century chalk outline of a naked, sexually-aroused, club-wielding giant carved into a hillside above Cerne Abbas in Dorset, England.
The huge drawing of Homer brandishing a doughnut painted next to the priapic figure is a publicity stunt promoting a movie to be released later this month reports Sky News.
It was painted with water-based biodegradable paint which will wash away when it rains.
The
West Essex director of the Pagan Federation
said: "It's very disrespectful and not at all aesthetically pleasing.
We were hoping for some dry weather but I think I have changed my mind. We'll be doing some rain magic to bring the rain and wash it away."
She added: "I'm amazed they got permission to do something so ridiculous. It's an area of scientific interest."
